Taylor Jackson Ross* - Hecuba

Taylor Jackson Ross has over ten years experience working with Shakespeare and repertory theater in Los Angeles. She is also a voice over artist working at Voxx Studios dubbing foreign language television/movies into English. Sometimes she plays Queen Elizabeth I for children out in the woods in Topanga Canyon. Select roles include: Brutus - Julius Caesar (Project Nongenue), Martha - The Secret Garden, Witch/Mrs. Jenkins - The Witches (MainStreet Theatre), Baggot - Richard the Second (Chase What Flies Theatre), Parsons - 1984 (Greenway Court Theatre), Judith - Equivocation, Tybalt - Romeo and Juliet (Theatricum Botanicum).

Liz Eldridge joins Project Nongenue for the first time with joy. Elizabeth Jane Birmingham - Iris, Assistant Director, Costumer

Elizabeth is a LAMDA trained actor with a spirit for theatre making. She appeared in PNG's last production of Much Ado About Nothing as Hero. Other acting credits include Helena (A Midsummer Night's Dream), Feste (Twelfth Night), Ferdinand (Love's Labour's Lost), and Timon (Timon of Athens). Avrielle Corti - Zosime

Avrielle Corti is honored to be part of a Nongenue production. Avrielle hs done film, television, animation and theater. On films she has played opposite of Michael Madsen, Lou Gossett jr, Diane Venora, Tom Berenger, as well as Disney's Sprouse twins. In theatre, She has had the opportunity to work with Patsy Rodenberg, Kristin Linklater and Mark Rylance. She has studied at the Globe Theatre in London, where she also performed as "Phoebe" in "As You Like It" on the Globe Stage. She has studied and devised work at Complicite in London as well. She co-created and Executive Produced the original all female Improv Web Series for YouTube called "Ex-Girlfriends". Recently Avrielle has Directed and stared in the short film "Chaperones" which will be shown in film festivals in 2018. Itnis her goal to collaborate with new artists, devise work and offer workshops with the LAMASK collective; that she founded and created to work with world renowned artist for new epics.

Cameron Rose - Talthybius, Menelaus, Set Designer

Cameron Rose is a founding member and the producing director of Project Nongenue. He has been a company member with Theatricum Botanicum for four years, as well as written and directed several original works with the Mosaic Lizard theater.

Kyra Morling - Cassandra

Kyra Morling is an an actor and artist originally from New Jersey. She just graduated from UCLA’s School of Theater, Film, and Television with a B.A. in Theater. Her next theater project will be at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival all of August in Scotland! Find more at kyramorling.com.

Celia Mandela - Andromache

Celia is more than thrilled that she gets to do yet another show with Project Nongenue, her first with PNG being their all-female Julius Caesar (Mark Antony). She believes classical theatre should be accessible to all and is very happy to share this piece with such a diverse cast and audience. Olivia Buntaine - Director

Olivia Buntaine is the co-founder and Artistic Director of Project Nongenue. She is an actor/director, musician and award-winning writer with an unmistakable bent towards the intersection of art and social justice. She has most recently directed Project Nogenue's Much Ado About Nothing and their all-women Julius Caesar. Some of her acting credits include Prospero in the Tempest, Imogen in Cymbeline and Autolycus in The Winter's Tale. She also has two albums out and writes a lot of poetry about greek goddesses and survivors of sexual violence. Project Nongenue is the pride of her heart, and she fiercely believes that by placing marginalized experiences at the center of classical theater we can change the world.

Christine Breihan - Movement Director

Christine Breihan is an LA-based theater artist and educator and has worked companies across the city including: Center Theater Group, A Noise Within, Theatricum Botanicum, Sacred Fools, Padua Playwrights, The Fountain, and Theater of NOTE, and Ghost Road Theater Ensemble. Internationally, she studied at LAMDA and has trained and performed with members of Teatr ZAR at the Grotowski Institute in Wroclaw, Poland. Christine believes that every type of body has the capacity and deserves the opportunity to participate in physical theater. This is Christine's first collaboration with Project Nongenue, and she has had a total blast making freaky art with the ensemble.

Rob Angell - Producer, Dramaturg

Robert is a graduate of Kenyon College, where he played an executive role in cementing Brave Potato Productions as a staple of student theater at the college. In LA, he's worked with the How Love Lasts project, Shotz Los Angeles, TinyRhino, and Kore Theatre Project in technical, writing, and acting roles. Robert believes that theater is a dialog, and it's just as important to challenge and engage with classic texts as it is to appreciate them. You can catch him performing Shakespeare at Three Clubs with Shakes on the Rocks this month!

Al Washburn - Graphic Designer

Al is an artist, activist, and educator whose greatest joy comes from asking people questions about themselves. While they haven't been onstage for a long time, they wholeheartedly believe in Project Nongenue's mission to create a responsible and accessible theater community in Los Angeles. They would like to thank Olivia for helping them let go of the idea that they weren't smart enough for Shakespeare. It's been a whole new world since.
