One of Project Nongenue's foundational goals is a commitment to creating a working environment that is free from harassment, abuse, or assault based on facets of identity or lived experience. In an effort to foster a more equitable and safe community, we aim to acknowledge and address gender- and sexuality-based discrimination and abuse that occurs within the entertainment industry (and even more specifically, within our own theatrical community).

For this reason, Project Nongenue created the LA Theater Community Climate Survey, in order to gain a better understanding of the experiences of our community members, and hopefully use that data to continue an ongoing conversation about creating an accountable, equitable, and just artistic and professional community.
